PHERSU.net is the second chapter of Exercitia Spiritualia Animae, a three-part project exploring the human psyche.
Conceived as a labyrinthic website, PHERSU originates from the Peloponnese, Greece, where material was gathered during the AADK “Expanded SPACES” programme.

The work traces analogies between digital and physical landscapes, mapping both as intertwined ecologies of perception. Drawing on Merleau-Ponty’s view of nature as a living field of relations, PHERSU treats the online environment not as separate from the body, but as an extension of it — a space where technology, memory, and landscape converge. Blending new and old technologies, PHERSU speculates on imagined pasts and futures, and on the shifting boundaries between persona, avatar, and self.

"Chants of the Forgotten Stones" is an audio-print project that aims to document fantasy and investigate the pre-colonization sonic ecosystem of canary islands.
Diving through eras from a fictive traveler in a pseudo comic-style layout, the traveler meets impressionistic writing and sound reliefs from the wild lizards region. Pre-colonial culture elements are emphasized confronting the paradox of machines, repetition and .

It is an imaginary time-travelogue using graphic primal techniques, re-appropriating mapping, symbolism of pre-inquisition era; it developps around questions of lost perception due to economical impact and invites to deep listening.
The production involves the design of a A1-sized riso print poster with a set of acousmatic work pieces on CD. – PressKit

A trembling constellation of painted selves — faces from centuries past — flicker and drift across the screen like ghosts of oil and varnish. Each portrait watches, unblinking, as your movement disturbs their sleep. If a picture of a passport/id card allows to proove one's identity; what about its sonic transcription ? Steganography is the practice of representing information within another message or physical object, such as listening the content of any image, here particularly, the authors identity papers encoded in a OGG format. During the playback time of such documents, through moving to the empty magic legal form; a surreal aknowledgement of statistics, opens up a reflection about ID dematerialization or legal issues.
A dark ode to the administration, its paperwork, its long delay, limited seats and queue rows.

"Slow Shakespeare Spoiler" is a time-based auto-generative poem which is made up by using last verse found in 14 of Shakespeare's sonnets. Randomly revealing a new line each day the page eventually composes a unique poem every fortnight.

Although it is happening in real time is it a progression which no one can actually afford to precieve. A medium such as the web offers a memory exercice to anyone interested in coming back from time to time to see the current poem cycle.

Kino Insulares
Kino Insulares is a program of projection centered around movies set on islands.
An attempt in foreseeking the overflow of a society between paradise and the fringe of instability.
Rooted from a pure "Medvekin" tradition of the cine-train, this project wants to convey reflection on social aspect on insular regions,
how drama and documentaries can be conceived to reflect on a local experience,
indeed here, set in a similar context and limits.
Screening and lecture at Equipo Para, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

On-location residency organised by AADK in the region of Nea Livera, Peloponnese, Greece and curated by Abraham Hurtado. This residency served as a base of reflection upon identity, correlating self-expression, body expression in moving frames, antique regional history and the many layers of an ecosystem.

The idea of building a labyrinthic website to expand the residency location in the digital realm emerged as part of the physical experience in the area.

It's an experiment on the theme of metamoprhosis phenomenom and analog performance, perceived through the spectrum of sound tones and digital texture transformation. It unfolds as a slow hallucinatory drift between natural textures and synthetic perception. Shrine Fuchsia (initially named "Urchin Fruits") is a project developped along with ambient artist Sylvia Monnier.
It formed naturally after conversations on art, music and cinema. It was an improvisational downtempo and aquatic relief exploration music duo. Shrine Fuchsia inspires both celestial, trippy and ceremonial music, triggering a vast array of electronic sounds.

Thyme Lines (Le Cantique des Oiseaux) emerged in 2017 in Montpellier as a collaboration with soprano and bass flautist Pascal Nyiri, a dedicated writer and radio enthusiast.
Le Cantique des Oiseaux formed initially as traditional free-folk and electronics music, playing flute, bells and feedback sounds,
synthesizer experimentation became more present over the years and led to a first album released on Constellation Tatsu late 2019.

From 2014 to early 2017, VRFM existed as a local FM station in the city center of Montpellier.
The project started as an mere extension to Radio Mulot (Nantes), conceived by Julien Mérieau.
It emitted on a found frequency at a power of approximately 80 watts using custom PLL stereo encoders. It became a platform for broadcasting live performance, avant-garde music and intriguing audio flux from every day life.
Ongoing mixes, broadcast archives and live shows forming a growing collection of experimental, ambient and noise-related material aired on the airwaves.
